June 9, 2023(Google Bard)

Four children who went missing after a plane crash in the Amazon jungle on May 1 have been found alive, Colombian authorities said.

The children, aged 13, 9, 4 and 11 months, were members of the Uitoto Indigenous community and were traveling with their mother and a guide when the plane crashed. The mother and guide were killed in the crash, but the children survived.

The children were found by a group of Indigenous hunters on June 8, about six weeks after the crash. The hunters said the children were in good health and appeared to be well-hydrated.

The children were taken to a nearby village, where they were reunited with their grandmother. They are expected to be flown to Bogota, the Colombian capital, for further medical evaluation.

The discovery of the children is a miracle, according to Colombian President Gustavo Petro. "This is a day of joy for Colombia," he said in a statement. "We are grateful to the Indigenous community for their help in finding these children."

The crash of the plane is still under investigation. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash.

The survival of the four children is a testament to their strength and resilience. They have been through a harrowing ordeal, but they have emerged alive and well. They are a reminder of the power of the human spirit.
