Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan were interacting with Newshelpline during a book launch in Mumbai.
Gauri Khan’s coffee table book, My Life in Design, charts out her journey as a designer with exclusive pictures of her and her family-Shah Rukh, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam. Unseen images of her Mumbai residence, Mannat, and the design thought-processes that went into it as well as other key projects are part of the book as well.
While interacting with Newshelpline, Gauri Khan spoke about her husband SRK, being the hardest to please, and her most challenging project has been designing the Red Chillies Entertainment office. She said, “Every project is dear to a designer, whether you’re working on something big or small, each project has challenges, and we have to give it our best”
“I have been working for so many years, but I think, Shahrukh’s project, Red Chillies office, he is a tough one to crack, because the team is always struggling to get his approval because he may come up with a better design, at all times” added Gauri.
Gauri Khan is producing Shahrukh Khan starrer Jawan, under Red Chillies Entertainments. Action thriller is written and directed by Atlee. It also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani.
It is now scheduled for theatrical release on 7th September 2023, coinciding with Janmashtami.
