The action thriller is written by K. P Thirumaaran, while it is produced and directed by S. Kathiresan (in his directorial debut), under his banner Five Star Creations LLP.

The film also stars Sarathkumar, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Poornima Bhagyaraj.
Raghava as Rudhran becomes an hurdle for illegal activities headed by Bhoomi, a corporate business magnate, where he causes a personal loss to Rudhran, who now wages a war against Bhoomi in order to avenge his personal loss.
The background score of the film was composed by Sam C. S., while the music was composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar and Dharan Kumar.
Rudhran was initially planned for release on December 2022, later pushed to 2023, due to production and filming delayed, now the film is scheduled to release on 14 April 2023, coinciding with Puthandu.
