In the video, actor Karthi is seen talking about putting on his costume and shooting the first scene, which allowed him to get a solid grounding for portray his role in historic drama.
The first single The song will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The Tamil version is titled Aga Naga, which will be crooned by ShakthiSree Gopalan and has lyrics by Ilango Krishnan.
The song will also release as Aaganandhe in Telugu (sung by Shakthishree Gopalan with lyrics by Anantha Sriram), Agamalar in Malayalam (sung by Shakthishree Gopalan with lyrics by Rafeeq Ahamed, Kirunage in Kannada (sung by Rakshitaa Suresh with lyrics by Jayant Kaikini). which is crooned by Shilpa Rao and penned by Gulzar.
The film stars Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Jayam Ravi, the film, which is jointly bankrolled by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, has music by AR Rahman. The second instalment of Ponniyin Selvan is gearing up to hit screens on 28th April 2023.
