Makers Organize Sam Bahadur Wrap-Up Party

Mumbai, 15th March 2023 (NewsHelpline) - After wrapping the shoot of Sam Bahadur, a biopic based on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the entire threw a party to mark the completion of the film. 

 

Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar along with RSVP movies Ronnie Screwvala, Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh and lot more grace the wrap-up party for the film, last night in Mumbai.

 

The entire team of Sam Bahandur posed happily for the shutterbug and expressed their joy as the film wrapped its shoot. 

 

Earlier in the day, filmmaker Meghna Gulzar shared the new about the wrap-up on her social media, she captioned her post, “We’re OK! #SamBahadur Filming Wrap. Thank you Team #SamBahadur for a lifetime of learning and memories!” 

 

Based on the life of Sam Manekshaw who was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.

 

Helmed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala (RSVP), the film  also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in the lead roles. The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 1, 2023.

 

Apart from Sam Bahadur, RSVP movies is also backing one more war movie, titled Pippa, Pippa, based on the war memoir The Burning Chaffees written by Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta, Pippa tells the story of the intense 48-hour Battle of Garibpur, which was fought on the eastern front during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and which laid the foundation for the impending war.
