Aamir Khan recently attended the launch event of Shobhaa De’s new book ‘Insatiable.
Aamir Khan during the launch event spoke about covid and the way it has changed him, He said, “I went through a realization through covid, it made me realize not only how vulnerable you are, but the people are around you as vulnerable as well and you get scared for people around you, or people who are close to you”
“And in that frame of mind, I actually started to think about people around me, and then I realized my entire adult life, from 18 onwards, I have been working, I have been fully focused on films and cinema, that’s my passion and I’ve actually not been there for people, so that was a big change for me, this self-realization, and I am glad this realization came at this age, not 20 years later. I am using this time to connect with people close to me” added Aamir.
The book, Insatiable is a celebration of life in all its complexities and with all the fault lines. It's about pleasure, joy, loss, the abundance, and opulence of possibility.
On the professional front, Aamir Khan recently appeared in Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie struggled at the box office and failed to impress the audience.
