Meanwhile on the work front, after wowing her fans with Aarya, Sushmita Sen is all set to play transgender activist Gauri Sawant in her next titled Taali. Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav is directing the series, she is currently shooting for the biography.
Gauri Sawant is an activist. She is the founder of Sakhi Char Chaughi Trust, an organisation that promotes safe sex and provides counselling to transgender people from Mumbai. Gauri, who was born as Ganesh Sawant, left her family at an early age to come to Bombay.
Sushmita Sen is also prepping for her the third season of Aarya.
