Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan is father of Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Alvira Khan Agnihotri, who is married to Atul Agnihotri.
Salim’s association with Javed Akhtar in the 1970s and 80s is well known. The two have together written the scripts for iconic films like Don, Sholay, and Deewar. He debuted as a solo screenwriter in Do Bhai.
Not many know that Salim has also worked as an actor in films like Teesri Manzil and Wafadar.
In 1964, Salim married Salma Khan. The couple was blessed with three sons -- Salman, Sohail, and Arbaaz -- and one daughter Alvira Khan Agnihotri.
However, Salim once gain got married in 1981 to the popular actress of her time, Helen. Salim and Helen did not have their own child. The duo adopted a girl, Arpita.
Meanwhile, Atul Agnihotri’s daughter Alizeh Agnihotri, is all set to make her acting debut, as reported.
