Fito Pez, Bad Bunny, Rauw Alejandro, Christina Aguilera, Drexler y Rosala fueron de los artistas ms nominados de la noche. SOUNDBITE Jorge Drexler, ganador de siete premios Latin Grammy En la Premiere, Pez cosech los premios de mejor cancin de rock por "Lo mejor de nuestras vidas" y mejor lbum de pop/rock por "Los aos salvajes". Rosala conquist la categora de mejor lbum del ao y de msica alternativa por "Motomami (Digital Album)". Bad Bunny, quien era el artista ms nominado de los Latin Grammy con 10 menciones, arras en las categoras de msica urbana con el premio a mejor cancin urbana y el de mejor fusin/interpretacin urbana por "Tit me pregunt". El puertorriqueo no estuvo presente en la Premiere. En la seccin de msica regional mexicana, "La reunin (deluxe)" de Los Tigres Del Norte se llev el premio a mejor lbum de msica nortea, Chiquis se impuso con el mejor lbum de msica banda "Abeja reina" y Bobby Pulido gan su primer Latin Grammy "Para que baile mi pueblo", reconocido en la categora de mejor lbum de msica tejana.
