Los chilenos recordaron el martes el tercer aniversario de un estallido social seguido de multitudinarias protestas que dejaron 33 muertos y miles de lesionados.
Tambin fueron presentadas ms de 3.100 querellas por la represin policial, y una convencin redact una nueva constitucin que finalmente rechazada hace un mes y medio por el 62% del electorado.
Las demandas ciudadanas de 2019 de mejoras en salud, educacin, jubilaciones y ms viviendas siguen sin respuesta.
Miles de manifestantes conmemoraron la fecha en una cntrica plaza de la capital chilena, muchos se retiraron al anochecer, mientras otros encendieron barricadas, interrumpieron el trnsito, daaron paraderos de autobuses, saquearon un par de comercios, quemaron un camin.
Unos 25.000 policas controlaron los desrdenes con chorros de agua y gases lacrimgenos en la capital y en ciudades del interior.
El presidente Gabriel Boric cuya aprobacin cay esta semana al 27% segn la encuestadora Cadem, impuls al Congreso a iniciar un nuevo proceso constitucional mediante un acuerdo entre los partidos polticos, que esperan plebiscitar otra carta magna a fines de 2023.
Chile vive una creciente inseguridad, una inflacin que ha llegado al 13,7% anual, mientras la economa se contraer 1,0% el prximo ao segn el Fondo Monetario Internacional.
