Lakshay Kapoor was taken on by DCA (Dharma corner stone) as their first talent recruitment to be launched as singer.
Talking to NewsHelpline on the sidelines of the song launch, Lakshay said, “This moment, this is something I will remember forever, I still remember the first message from Karan Johar, and he had asked me to sing Channa Mereya, and I did sing and record it on my phone and sent it to Karan, and everything started from there”
“I feel grateful, it’s been overwhelming, I am nervous, and my voice is shaking right now, I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, because I am coming from nowhere, everything is new for me, I am learning and all the sudden Universal and VRYL are collaborating, I am excited” added Lakshay.
The song, Tumhe Pyaar Karungga also features Erica Fernandes. It is produced by VYRL Originals. The beautiful romantic track is composed by duo Javed Mohsin, penned by Rashmi Virag and supervised by Azeem Dayani.
The song is out and already having a whopping 5.4 million hits, makes it a sensational hit.
Lakshay Kapoor is a successful entrepreneur before he turned his sights to entering the Hindi music industry. He started with song covers and slowly worked his way to DCA.
