New Delhi, Sep 21 (SocialNews.XYZ) In a case of road rage, two men thrashed and kidnapped a businessman and took him to Jhajjar in Haryana from Delhi's Paschim Vihar on September 17 where they abandoned him after trying to kill him.

The whole incident was captured on CCTV, which has also been accessed by IANS.

The victim, Sumit Jindal, has alleged that one of the two accused is a Delhi Police constable and his aide is in the CRPF. Jindal has alleged that he was being threatened for a compromise. The police finally lodged an FIR on September 18, as the victim did not budge.

The incident

Jindal, a resident of Ekta Enclave, Peera Garhi runs a shop in Rohini Sector 7. On September 17 at around 3 a.m., he was on his way home after closing his shop. When he reached near his house he saw a black colour Swift Car being reversed. An aide of the driver was helping him in reversing. It was about 4 a.m. by then. In the meantime, the black colour car hit the car of the victim while reversing which led to an argument between them.

"I asked them to drive in a safe manner. Hearing this, they started hurling abuses at me. When I objected, the other sitting in the car also came out hurling abuses at me. They then attacked me," the victim said.

The victim tried to save himself, but the two accused forced him in their car and drove towards Bahadurgarh.

The victim, after being kidnapped, got terrified, and tried to call his brother, but the accused snatched his mobile phone. One of them took out a gun and pointed it at the victim asking him to keep quiet.

The accused told the victim that they were from police and would demand Rs 10 lakh from his family. The accused also started recording a video of the victim accusing him of being a child lifter.

As per the victim, they stopped their car near Jhajjar bypass in Haryana where they tried to throw him off from a flyover but failed and ran away leaving the victim in a semi unconscious state.

After some time, the victim gained senses and started walking towards a nearby bus stand. There he took the help of a man, who was waiting for the bus, and called the police and his family.

The Haryana Police reached the bus stand and took the victim to Bahadurgarh police post to record his statement. Later the victim was allowed to go to Delhi along with his family.

Finally, a case in this respect was lodged with the Paschim Vihar west police station in Delhi.

Forcing for compromise

The victim told IANS that he was shocked to see a Delhi Police official bring the two accused to his house and tried to force him for a compromise. He said that he was constantly getting calls to settle the score.

"My attacker, and kidnapper are from Delhi Police and CRPF and hence they are pressurizing me. They have threatened my whole family. I have got a hundred calls from their batch mates," the victim said.

The victim has also lodged a complaint in this respect too.

As per the victim a police constable brought both the accused to the hospital where he was asked not to lodge an FIR. Later on, the police brought both the accused to his house too where he was again threatened.

IANS tried to reach the senior police officials, but no one was available to comment on the allegations and the case.
