actres, where she talked about the struggles she had to face initially.

Talking about the same, the actress says, "Born to a middle-class family, I wasn't ‘born with a silver spoon’ in my childhood. I belong to a non-filmy background and no one in my family has ever worked in the entertainment industry. Initially, I had to face a lot of struggles to bag a project. One of my main struggles was that I had no one to guide me. I had no exposure and didn't have any clue about where to go for auditions and how to become an actor."

She further adds, "I feel that surviving in Mumbai is a big thing. I never faced a financial crunch. After coming to Mumbai, I started making contacts among creative directors and got to know how it works here. I feel proud and happy to say that whatever I am today is because of my craft."

On the work front, Geeta was last seen in Ek Deewana Tha, which starred Namik Paul, Vikram Singh Chauhan and Donal Bisht. Geeta was seen playing the role of Rati Bedi on the show. However, her claim to fame was Naamkarann on Star Plus. The actress has been seen on shows like Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Crime Patrol and has been seen in films like Delhi 6, Club 60 and more.
