Helmed by Kunal Kohli, the movie Shlok - The Desi Sherlock, the film stars Bobby Deol alongside Ananya Birla, who is the daughter of Aditya Birla Group’s Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla and educationist and mental health activist Neerja Birla.

Ananya Birla is a note singer with many hits and international tours under her belt. She has performed at some of the biggest music events in Asia including Global Citizen, Oktoberfest, and Sunburn, Asia's biggest electronic music festival, and has toured with Wiz Khalifa.
Recently she released a cheering song titled, "Hindustani Way", for the Indian Olympic team with A.R. Rahman
