Bimbisara and Sita Ramam have turned out to be real money spinners at the box office. These films have opened extraordinarily well at the box office.
As for the OTT release plans, Sita Ramam won’t arrive on Amazon Prime Video at least 6 weeks from the day of its theatrical release. The makers have enforced a strict no early OTT release for the film.
Same with Bimbisara. The film will also not arrive on OTT for at least another 50 days. It will arrive on Sony Liv only 8 weeks from its theatrical release.
Neither Bimbisara nor Sita Ramam have gone for early OTT release and this is a positive move in the direction of bringing the audience back to theaters in these testing times for the industry in.
