'De Dhakka', the prequel of the film which was released in 2008 was superhit and hilarious and was most acclaimed by the audience. It showed the journey of family from the Kolhapur village to the Mumbai city. With De Dhakka 2, the journey of the family from the Mumbai city to London will be depicted. The movie included Siddharth Jadhav, Shivaji Satam, Medha M Manjrekar, and Gauri Vaidya in addition to Makarand Anaspure. Leading actors Sanjay Khapare and Saksham Kulkarni will also be the part of this film. The sequel is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and Sudesh Manjrekar.
