Really enjoying England's bowling conditions, says Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Birmingham, July 10 (SocialNews.XYZ) India pace bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar says the playing conditions in England are giving him the motivation to go after the home team's top batters, and indicated that he was in the best possible shape to continue his good form in upcoming matches.

Bhuvneshwar was adjudged 'Player of the Match' for his superb 3/15 that decimated England's run-chase and gave India a 49-run victory in the second T20I at Edgbaston on Saturday. He had Jason Roy walking back to the dressing room for a first-ball duck, after the opener poked at a length ball outside off and gave an easy catch to Rohit Sharma at slip.

Dangerous batter Jos Buttler was next as he was dismissed for 4, as India reaped rich dividends in their defence of 170/8. England were finally bundled out for 121 in 17 overs as the tourist took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

Bhuvneshwar said he was enjoying bowling in England's swinging conditions.

"When ball swings, you definitely enjoy. In the last few years, there is not much help with the ball in England but this year it's more. White ball getting swing upfront is a motivational factor for fast bowler and batters have to take their chances.

"We know Buttler is a dangerous player. If ball swings I go for a wicket and it works. If ball swings, it motivates you to do things against a particular batsman," added the bowler."

The cricketer made his displeasure known with people who keep questioning his fitness.

"Honestly I don't want to talk about injuries. If anyone asks me the same in India, I don't answer it, sorry. I am playing so it seems it's good."

England skipper Buttler, while disappointed with the team's showing, was appreciative of debutant Richard Gleeson's bowling. Gleeson took out India's top order to have the visitors in a spot of bother before an unbeaten 46 from Ravindra Jadeja gave solidity to the innings.

"Very disappointing. I don't think we played well enough to consider batting first as an option. Fantastic debut (for Gleeson) given the guys he got out (Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli), although a disappointing result. CJ always bowls the tough overs and is naturally under pressure a lot of the time. Gets the result most of the times, delighted for him," said Buttler.
