Not Nervous About Theatrical Release Of HIT-The First Case Says Sanya Malhotra

Mumbai, 24th June 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Sanya Malhotra, who will seen in a theatrical release after a long gap of almost two years says she is excited about the big-screen release, as OTT releases during lock-down has boosted her confidence.

 

Sanya Malhotra was interacting with NewsHelpline at the trailer launch of HIT- The First Case, Hindi version. Helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, it is produced by T-Series and Dil Raju, also starring Rajkummar Rao. 

 

Sanya Malhotra had big releases on OTT during lockdown, movies such as Pagglait, Meenakshi Sundareshwar, and Love Hostel, and now she is having a theatrical release after a long gap. 

 

We asked if she is nervous about coming back to big-screen and Sanya said, “No, I am not, I am really excited about coming back to theaters, I was even excited to see the trailer of HIT on the big screen, I am even excited as an audience to see myself on the big screen” 

 

“OTT is nice but theater has its own charm and fun, there is no nervousness about theatrical release, I have had good two years with back-to-back OTT releases, and that sort of boosted my confidence as an actor, and working with such a good team in HIT, that also has boosted my confidence and made me feel good about the release” added Sanya. 

 

The film also stars Dalip Tahhil, Milind Gunaji, Shilpa Shukla and Sanjay Narvekar. The film revolves around a police officer in the homicide intervention team, who suffers from PTSD, and must overcome his struggles with his tragic past and investigate a case involving a missing woman. The thriller is slated for 15th July 2022 release. 

 

Apart from HIT, actress Sanya Malhotra is also busy with Sam Bahadur, The Great Indian Kitchen, Kathal and Jawan to name some.
