Women Supporting Women Has Changed The Game Says Esha Gupta

Mumbai, 6th June 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Esha Gupta believes that the society has changed, now women are supporting women along with men, and that is why there are so many women-centric subjects are being tackled via movies and series. 

 

Esha Esha Gupta was interacting with NewsHelpline on the side-lines of Ek Badnaam Aashram or Aashram 3’s grand success. 

 

When asked OTT expansion in India has helped women-centric drama’s coming to foray, Esha Gupta said, “Women centric dramas are coming to foray it’s not because of OTT, the entire society is changing, sometime back men would oppress women, and I am talking about society, not the film industry. And I think women wasn’t supporting women, that scenario has changed, now women are supporting other women, men are supporting women, hence women are being empowered and bringing good stories to forefront, I am true believer of sisterhood and I think society wants more to such dramas”

 

Esha Gupta is currently enjoying the success of Aashram 3 and share her experience of working with National Award winning filmmaker Prakash Jha.

 

When asked about working with Prakash Jha, actress Esha added, “I am working with Prakash Jha for the second time, I am working with him after a decade, and he is still the same. Prakash Jha works with so many actors and actresses, and the best part is his eye for detailing, he treats everyone equally, he is disciplined and he is absolute delightful to work with” 

 

The series also stars Bobby Deol. Aaditi Pohankar, Darshan Kumar, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Tushar Pandey, Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Rajeev Siddhartha, Sachin Shroff, Anurita Jha, Parinitaa Seth, Jahangir Khan, Kanupriya Gupta, Preeti Sood and Navdeep Tomar in key roles. 

 

It is written by Madhvi Bhatt, Avinash Kumar, Sanjay Masoomm, Tejpal Singh Rawat and Kuldeep Ruhil. The third season is running successfully on MX Player.
