People Warned Razneesh Ghai About Not Working With Me Says Kangana Ranaut

Mumbai, 30th April 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Kangana Ranaut who will be seen as agent Agni in filmmaker Razneesh Razy Ghai’s debut action thriller Dhaakad, says people warned the director not to work with me. 

 

Kangana Ranaut was interacting with NewsHelpline at the trailer launc of Dhaakad. 

 

Talking about the Razy Ghai on his debut movie, Kangana Ranaut shared, “Thanks to everyone that I have such an image, people has warned Razy not to work with me, but he put his foot down and said if Kangana doesn’t do the film, I won’t make it, and I am forever grateful to him for that” 

 

Dhaakad is the first ever all out action thriller for Kangana Ranaut, and probably the most difficult film of her career. 

 

Talking about physically adapting the role and dealing with wieghtloss and covid, Kangana said, “Dhaakad started right after Thalaivii, so I had some 20 kilo extra on my body and losing weight in your 30’s is difficult, plus I got hit my COVID, and team was filming in Budapest, and they couldn’t delay the schedule, and within a month of my recovery, I was on sets doing all sorts of action, of course every job has its own challenges, but when you’re dealing with covid-recovery, you just don’t know what to expect. It was the most difficult phase as an actor that I went through” 

 

The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, Saswata Chatterjee and Shairb Hashmi. The film is produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment, Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum films, slated for 20th May 2022.
