Filmmaker Hansal Mehta Starts Shooting For Scam 2003

Mumbai, 28th April 2022 (NewsHelpline) – After an epic successful Scam 1992, based on exploits of share-market fallen hero Harshad Mehta, filmmaker Hansal Mehta's next venture Scam 2003' based on 'Abdul Karim Telgi' has started.

 

 

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta took to his social media profile and dropped a picture of a clapperboard. He captioned it, “And we rolled today. Rock it my friend @tusharhiranandani. Titled 'Scam 2003: The Curious Case of Abdul Karim Telgi', the show is adapted from the Hindi book Reporter ki Diary authored by journalist and news reporter Sanjay Singh. 

 

Basically, it revolves around the story of the 2003 Stamp Paper Scam by Abdul Karim Telgi. The cast has not been revealed yet.

 

Apart from Scam 2003, filmmaker Hansal Mehta has also wrapped the shoot of action thriller "Faraaz". The film will depict the Holey Artisan cafe attack that shook Bangladesh in 2016.

 

The film will marks late star Shashi Kapoor's grandson, Zahaan Kapoor's debut and will also feature Aditya Rawal, son of actors Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat, who made his acting debut last year with the ZEE5 film "Bamfaad".
