Kolkata Celebrated Two Glorious Decades of Brand Supratim Akaash Paul

Soft breeze kissing the air, cocktails and hearty conversations; it was a perfect setting for a poolside party hosted by Dr. Supratim Akaash Paul at Fairfield by Marriott. The evening was set against the backdrop of the glitterati of Kolkata who gathered up to have some real fun amidst good food, great music and a specially curated menu designed by Dr. Paul himself.

Dr. Supratim Akaash Paul has just completed twenty glorious years in his profession of integrated lifestyle medicine, dermatology, cosmetology and fitness science. He was in the city to celebrate with his friends, diplomats, actors and the who’s who of Kolkata. It was a gathering of limited people keeping in mind the covid situation. We saw the diplomats shake a leg, enjoy the music and have a good time after long. Dr. Paul’s journey had started years back in the 'City of Joy’ and gradually he spread his wings in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Singapore, Dubai and California; so the celebration had to start in his hometown.

Dr. Paul, the star of the evening looked dapper in a black Armani T-shirt paired with a black waistcoat and dark blue jeans and his signature handcrafted boutique high boots. He was seen having a good time with all the esteemed guests. The guests comprised of The British Deputy High Commissioner with his wife, Consul Generals of Nepal, Thailand, Bhutan, Norway, Director of Alliance Française du Bengale (French Consulate), fashion designers, actresses, models, politicians, general managers of Hyatt Regency and Fairfield by Marriott to name a few.

 

The attraction of the evening was the lavish spread and the free flowing liquor. The menu had dishes specially curated. It started with live counters of putchkas with vodka, a wide range of chaats followed by a diverse salad corner comprising of roasted pumpkin salad, poached chicken with iceberg and walnut drizzled with paparika mayo, stuffed tomato salad with olive oil and pesto and cheese platter ranging from gorgonzola, parmesan, brie, goat cheese, cheddar, emmental. The lamb galouti kebab, chicken reshmi kebab, fish finger, chilli chicken rolls, paneer papab kebab, crispy chilli babycorns were to die for. The main course had special Hydrabadi Dum Gosht Biriyani, Chicken Chaap, Subz Nizami, Dal Kava and others. The sweet endings had yummy moong dal halwa with vanilla ice cream, shahi tukda with rose petals, makha sandesh and dark chocolate truffle cake.
