KGF 2' sensational run in the Hyderabad circuit is clearly highlighted by the fact that it has set a non RRR record in the city. With advance bookings amounting to Rs 6.6+ crores, KGF 2 has registered the highest advance bookings for any film after RRR.
KGF 2 has evidently struck a chord with the Telugu audience. To put that into perspective. KGF 1's gross in the Telugu states is around 20 crores. Now, the sequel has grossed over Rs 6.6 crores from advance bookings in Hyderabad city alone. This is as sensational as it can get.
KGF 2 is also opening on a strong note in Hindi, Tamil Nadu, and obviously Karnataka belts.
