Bringing The Audience Back In Theaters, Biggest Achievement For RRR Says SS Rajamouli

Mumbai, 7th April 2022 (NewsHelpline) – The fictional tale of two freedom fighters, RRR, helmed by SS Rajamouli has racked-up 1000 Cr plus collection but the humble filmmaker believe bringing the audience back to theater is bigger achievement.

 

SS Rajamouli along with Ram Charan, NTR Jr, Jayantilal Gada, Aamir Khan, and an array of celebrities graced the success part of RRR in Mumbai. 

 

During his interaction with NewsHelpline, we asked filmmaker if he is relieved as the film as done good business, SS Rajamouli sadi, “I am so relieved right now, because the film got postponed so many times, because of the pandemic and we were very unsure about the occupancy of the theaters, but from audience side I never had any doubts” 

 

“I was certain once the film is released the audience will come to the theaters, but the health department kept keeping out new restrictions and rules, so I wasn’t sure about the release. I was anguish about the film release, but once the theaters opened and RRR released, and it bought back the audience, that is biggest achievement for me” says Rajamouli.

Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris. It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), and their fight against the British Raj.

 

RRR broke the record for the highest opening-day collection earned by an Indian film, making it the ninth highest-grossing film of 2022, and set several other box office records for an Indian film.
