GlobalLogic Announces Winners of 16th Edition of 30Hacks 2022 Hackathon

GlobalLogic, a leader in Digital Product Engineering, today announced the winners of the 16th edition of the ‘30Hacks’ hackathon, a platform for talented coders to showcase  their transformative ideas and innovative technology-led solutions. The virtual hackathon took place from March 26 to March 27, 2022.

The theme for this year’s 30Hacks, ‘Digiverse: Unleash Potential’ invited talent from across the western region of India. It deep-dived into the development of innovative and disruptive technology concepts to solve real-world business problems across five industry verticals – Automotive, Healthcare, Telecom, Financial Services, and Industrial.

 

The Top teams were evaluated based on defined parameters such as design, innovation and advancement, business implication, solution approach and architecture. The winners of the ‘30Hacks’ hackathon received prizes worth INR 5,00,000.

  1. 1st prize: Team vdoc (Manikant Kella & Gowthami Pulugu); A virtual doctor to analyze preliminary diagnosis
  2. 2nd prize: Team Pulmocreate (Rohit Raj Padhi, V Roshan & S Sovan Kumar); A non invasive device to detect lung cancer
  3. 3rd prize: Team Mumbai (Nishant Shrivastava, Atul Vinayak Chauhan, Rajkumar Yadav & Saritha Prabhu); Anyone can Speak, an app for impaired people

30Hacks West 2022, which began with the aspiration of turning the western region of the country into the epicenter of the digital renaissance, received over 1000+ registrations from coders across many multinational companies with diverse backgrounds and experiences. After multiple entry screenings, the top teams were shortlisted and took part in the final 30 hours of the coding marathon from March 26-27. 30Hacks provided a holistic experience by hosting celebrity performances and comedy nights as a part of the Hackathon.

The jury for 30Hacks 2022 was presided by senior industry members such as Mackenzie Kizer, Sr. Managing Director Jack Henry & Associates, Rajesh Juriasingani, Vice President - Software Development Entrust, John Walsh, Chief Technology Officer Zipari, Hari Sree, Sr. Director, Software Development Medtronic and  Sunil K Singh, Chief Technology Officer, GlobalLogic.
