HBO Unveils We Own This Town Trailer

Mumbai, 19th March 2022 (NewsHelpline) - HBO drops the teaser-trailer for the crime thriller series titled We Own This Town, based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton. 

 

 

The series stars Jon Bernthal, Josh Charles, Wunmi Mosaku, Jamie Hector, Dagmara Dominczyk, Treat Williams, McKinley Belcher III, and Rob Brown. 

 

The series, just like the book chronicles the rise and fall of the Baltimore Police Department's Gun Trace Task Force and the corruption surrounding it. It's set after the 2015 Baltimore riots and focuses on Sgt. Wayne Jenkins - entrusted with fixing the city's drug & gun crisis, he chose to exploit it instead. 

 

We Own This City is series directed by acclaimed filmmaker Reinaldo Marcus Green, written by George Pelecanos, David Simon, D. Watkins, and Ed Burns. 

 

The series is bankrolled by Reena Rexrode, Reinaldo Marcus Green, Nina K. Noble, Ed Burns, Kary Antholis, Pelecanos and Simon. Based on the book by Justin Fenton. 

 

The mini-series starts streaming from 25th April 2022.
