Mera Gaon Mera Desh Awards will begin its journey from the oldest city of India, Kashi, now known as Banaras or Varanasi. The award will witness the crème de la cream of Banaras along with a few famous Bollywood personalities. This award will not only acknowledge and honor heroes from different sectors like Education, Sports, Art, Culture, Handicrafts, Beauty, Lifestyle, Real estate, etc. but will also strengthen and motivate the new generation to work on their specialties with their feet very much grounded in their roots.
Sanjay Tiwari, (Founder, Newsify Network Pvt Ltd) informed the media that these awards were supposed to happen in the month of January but got delayed. “Mera Gaon Mera Desh awards is a humble gesture from Newsify Network to say Thank You to all those Locals who work really hard to make a significant and noticeable impact in the community by giving their society a better tomorrow.

We were supposed to start this award from Republic day but due to the rise in Covid cases and other mandatory protocols, the event was postponed. Now the good news is, that in this post-pandemic situation when the entire nation is trying to get back to its normal, even we are coming up with this award on 14th April 2022, which happens to be Baisakhi, the symbol of prosperity and a new beginning".
