The post theatrical OTT streaming rights of Kamal Haasan’s forthcoming film Vikram have apparently been sold for a whopping price.
As per reports, the digital streaming rights of Vikram were sold for Rs 112 crores.
Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the post theatrical digital streaming rights of Vikram. The satellite rights are held by Stat Network.
The OTT deal covers all Indian language versions of Vikram. The makers have recovered a major chunk of the film’s budget through the OTT rights itself.
Vikram is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj who previously directed Vijay’s Master. Vikram also features Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.
