Talented and popular singer Pratibha Singh Baghel was interacting with NewsHelpline when she addressed the loss of her two inspirations.
She said, “I really feel bad about Lata Mangeshkar’s demise, I mean, I don’t think we could possibly have someone like her ever again, and I don’t feel good at all talking about her in past-tense. But I’d says this much, she is someone who dedicated all her life to music and her songs are blessing for us. She is eternal, she will always remain in our hearts. She was and is my inspiration”
Talking about Disco King of India, singer adeed, “Bappi Da was another legend, I mean words fell short addressing his contribution to music. He is someone who introduced disco music in India. He is the Disco King. I don’t think we will be able to see such legends again, my deepest respect to both”
Singer Pratibha also talked about her forthcoming album Inhertiance, which will see 4 thumri’s being recreated. The first, Babul Mora is out and has been winning hearts with Indian classical music lovers.
Talking about the album, she said, “Inheritance is about four classical Thumri’s which are revived in the album. Bablu Mora is already out, next one is title Hamri Atariya Pe, third one is title Saiyaan Bina Ghar Suna, and the last one is Lakho Ke Bol, and they will release soon”
The album will be released by Sufiscore, it is directed by Ravi Jadhav and the composers have roped in Budapest Live Symphony Orchestra for the first single.
