The makers of “A Thursday” organized a special screening for the film prior to its digital release. The special screening was Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Kaushal, Vikramaditya Motwane along with his wife, Dhairya Karwa and more along with Yami Gautam, Neha Dhupia and Atul Kulkarni gracing the red-carpet gala.
During his interaction with NewsHelpline, actor Atul Kulkarni, who plays the role of special investigator Javed Khan, said, “After a while there is a release and audience will witness something new, a new story and work. A Thursday is not just another thriller film, it is an important film, the film is based on an important subject. I am curious to know about audience reaction”
Written and directed by Behzad Khambata. The film is jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Premnath Rajagopalan under the banners RSVP Movies and Blue Monkey Films. It stars Yami Gautam, Neha Dhupia, Atul Kulkarni, Dimple Kapadia and Karanvir Sharma in the lead roles.
The film revolves around a kindergarten teacher taking 16 kids hostage for a series of demands, but she has a different agenda all together behind the hostage crisis.
The film is scheduled to premiere on 17 February 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar.
