Pandemic Hasn’t Changed The Mind-Set Of Actos In Regards To OTT says Ajay Devgn

Mumbai, 15th February 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Superstar Ajay Devgn, who is making his digital debut with Rudra, says actors were open to OTT even before the pandemic hit the world. 

 

Ajay Devgn along with entire ensemble of Rudra – The Edge Of Darkness were interacting with NewsHelpline at the trailer launch. 

 

When asked about pandemic has changed the mind-set of actors regarding OTT, actor Ajay Devgn said, “It is not the pandemic; we were always open to the shows. This show started before the pandemic, everybody is open to OTT, it’s just one must wait for the right subject and project, once you’re offered what you desire, I think everybody is ready to do it”  

 

Ajay Devgn’s repertoire of roles is versatile and varied, and now he is ready to add Villainous streak as well. Talking about playing super villain on-screen, he added, “No, not yet. I am looking for a script, but yeah, I would love to play a super villain also.”  

 

Now that Ajay has made his digital debut as an actor, we asked if he’d make his digital directorial debut as well, he said, “ I am always open to directing, see I cannot really say much about tomorrow but if I felt something that I needed to do, I take decisions spontaneously, so I would definitely do it” 

 

Rudra is the adaptation of Idris Elba's crime drama Luther. When asked about the Hindi adaptation, Ajay Devgn said, "I don't know about at par, it could be better too. There is action too, but within the script, it’s more of drama and thrills. I hope it is better than the original”

 

The riveting psychological crime drama is helmed by Rajesh Mapuskar, also stars Raashi Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni, Ashwini Kalsekar, Tarun Gahlot, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Satyadeep Misra in pivotal roles.
