Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur have at least 27 years of age different between them, and this has been one of the most talked about pairing in recent times.
During her interaction with NewsHelpline at the wrap-up party, we asked Kangana about the raging age difference between the two and she said, “A lot of people warned me about it, there is huge age gap between the leads, but it suits my story. If you look at Tanu Weds Manu, the kind of jouster position Madhavan and my character had, that works for a chemistry. It was my belief that Avneet is the right person for this film, and I am sure her pairing with Nawaz will be a hit”
Manikarnika Films maiden venture had its tough time due to pandemic and other issues, but the film is finally complete and Kangana couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishment.
She said, “It has been the most tremendous experience for Manikarnika films, which I started with my brother, this is our very first film that we have done together, and we’re happy that we were able to work with such a good team. Nawazuddin Siddique has been most helpful, Avneet is such a great talent, and everyone else has been supportive and helpful, this has been a big achievement for me”
Further praising Nawazuddin and his sense of humor and work ethic, Kangana said, “Nawaz has an amazing sense of humor, we had some good laughs during our conversations, he is quite a talented actor, and I think he has progressed solely based on his talent, and I am just like him. I am not miss world, miss universe, super model, or someone’s daughter, but I still made it. So, we relate with each other, he is such an amazing success story, I am a huge fan of him, and I got to work with Nawaz in my debut production, it is huge accomplishment for me”
Tiku Weds Sheru is a romantic drama and a dark satire film, it is written and directed by Sai Kabir under the banner of Manikarnika Films. The film is Kangana's maiden production after the launch of her production house in 2020.
