Dhanush-starrer “Maaran” motion poster intense & intriguing

An eye-catching, intense and intriguing motion poster of Dhanush-starrer “Maaran” has been unveiled by the makers Sathya Jyothi Films today (January 14) on Pongal as a treat to the actor’s fans. While the earlier released first look and still images from the shoot do not reveal anything substantial about the movie, the motion poster does give a few details, gives a sneak peek, and tells the audience what they can anticipate from the film, touted to be an investigative thriller.

The movie in which Dhanush is playing a journalist’s role is helmed by Karthick Naren, also features Malavika Mohanan as a female lead, and Samuthirakani, Master Mahendran, Krishnakumar in supporting but important roles. It will premiere directly on OTT platform DisneyPlusHotstar. A release date has not been announced yet.

Prior to the motion poster, the makers unveiled on July 28, 2021 the first look of "Maaran" poster which showed Dhanush holding a pen in his right hand smashes a pistol-holding man's face against a glass surface. And, subsequently on December 30, 2021, a few still images of the cast - Dhanush, Malavika Mohanan and Smruthi Venkat, and also Samuthirakani, were released.

Ever since "Maaran", 43rd film of the two-time National Award winning actor, was announced, it has only built excitement among the actor's fans. Now, they look forward to more updates, more glimpses, and a trailer before the release of the film which is expected to be out soon.
