Anushka Ranjan didn’t for once imagine that she would start a global trend amongst to-be Indian brides when she wore her most unusual LILAC colored lehenga at her own wedding last November - the outfit was designed by Mohini Chhabria, who also happens to be her aunt.
Anuska Ranjan traveled to Dubai last month and she told us that everyone she met first inquired about her gorgeous Lilac wedding lehanga.
Anushka is a huge fashionista - what she wears is taken as inspiration by many & this one has exceeded all expectations, including her own!
Her lilac lehenga has become a huge trend worldwide. People are making loads of digital content on it and many are desperately trying to get their hands on a piece of a lilac lehenga.
She has garnered rave reviews from fashion critics & many friends, including ace fashion designers and Bollywood stars..

We spoke to Anushka recently and here is what she says, "I am OTT at the response !!! We were quite excited about this creation but we had no clue that it will be this well received. My Instagram DM is full of compliments & eager brides enquiring as to how can they get their hands on one. This is awesome news and I am pleasantly surprised. All credit goes to Mohini aunty. She is so talented & and it’s high time she gets this truly deserved appreciation & recognition for her amazing creations. She told me that she too has messages flowing in from to-be brides in America, England ,South Africa all enquiring about the same.
Hearing appreciation, for this now famous lilac lehenga, from Manish sir at my wedding was the icing on the cake for me - very exciting !!"
