The official handle of UV Creations shared the deeds on the release postponement. It said, “ A little more wait to witness the biggest story of Love vs Destiny. We have to postpone the release of our film #RadheShyam due to the ongoing covid situation. Our sincere thanks to all the fans for your unconditional love and support. We will see you in cinemas soon..! #RadheShyamPostponed”
The note shared read, “We have been trying our best for the past few days but considering the growing cases of Omicron variant it looks like we will have to wait for our labour of love to get to the big screen. Radheshyam is a story about love vs destiny and we are sure that your love will help us rise over these tough times together. Will see you in the cinemas soon!!”
The film is written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde. It is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages.
The film is produced by UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Movies and T-Series.
Originally planned for a release on 30 July 2021, it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was scheduled to release on 14 January 2022, coinciding with the festival of Sankranthi but now its been postponed again.
