There are several reliable reports affirming that the government of Tamil Nadu has decided to shut down cinema hall across the state effective soon. The final orders pertaining to the same will be unveiled by the chief minister in a press briefing today.
Now that the cinema halls in Tamil Nadu are set to seize operations, the makers of Ajith Kumar’s Valimai are left with no other option but to postpone the film’s release.
Valimai was initially announced for theatrical release on the 13th of January but that won’t be possible if the the cinema halls shut operations.
The makers of Valimai are expected to drop an official announcement on the postponement in the next few days.
