My Character In Campus Diaries Is Nothing Like Me Says Saloni Gaur

Mumbai, 24th December 2021 (NewsHelpline) – Popular YouTuber and influencer Saloni Gaur who is foraying into acting arena with MX Player’s series titled Campus Diaries, says she character is stark opposite from her real-life. 

 

Created by Prem Mistry and Abhishek Yadav, starring an incredible ensemble of Harsh Beniwal, Ritvik Sahore, Saloni Gaur, Salonie Patel, Abhinav Sharma and Srishti Ganguli Rindani, the series revolves six friends’ journey in their college. 

 

NewsHelpline team was interacting with Saloni Gaur about the series. We asked her if there was any continuity of real-life self into the character, she said, “My character name is Priyanka, and she is a rebel. Despite being part of the group, she is her own person, it is that kind of a character” 

 

“My character is stark opposite of my real-life, I love having fun in real life, but my character doesn’t, but one thing is similar, that we both love to speak our mind” added Saloni. 

 

Coming of age campus drama goes beyond mundane fun-filled routine and address relevant yet lesser discussed issues like ragging, discrimination based on societal biases, one sided love stories, rampant drug abuse and toxic relationships that mould your personality and ready you to face the real world.

 

Further adding, Saloni said she believe her college days has moulded her into the person she is today, she added, “During college days, I had time as I was living in hostel and after doing my everyday routine, I’d sit and make videos and that’s how I ended up here. So yeah, college days did let me here”
