Audience Are Expecting More From Campus Diaries, Rather Than Me Says Harsh Beniwal

Mumbai, 24th December 2021 (NewsHelpline) – Actor Harsh Beniwal, who is debuting into acting arena with MX Players series Campus Diaries, says that audience has more expectation than him from the show. 

 

Created by Prem Mistry and Abhishek Yadav, starring an incredible ensemble of Harsh Beniwal, Ritvik Sahore, Saloni Gaur, Salonie Patel, Abhinav Sharma and Srishti Ganguli Rindani, the series revolves six friends’ journey in their college. 

 

Talking to NewsHelpline about his forthcoming show and his expectations from it, Harsh said, “Rather me expecting something from the show, I think audience is expecting something new and different from me. This is quite real, unique, and almost close to reality of things” 

 

Talking about his character in the series, Harsh added, “My character, as the tagline goes, I am Janta Ka Banda, he is someone who speaks in Haryanvi, and always up for some action. He is someone who you would call in middle of night and he is always there to help. He is quite chilled”  

 

“My character in the series is definitely continuation of my real-life self, I took inspiration from my friends, who hail from Haryana, and I am like that in real life as well, I hardly ever studied, I would bunk college all the time, my friend circle is small, but everyone is important, so yeah, there is continuity of real-self in the show as well” added Harsh. 

 

Coming of age campus drama goes beyond mundane fun-filled routine and address relevant yet lesser discussed issues like ragging, discrimination based on societal biases, one sided love stories, rampant drug abuse and toxic relationships that mould your personality and ready you to face the real world.

 

The series streams from 7th January only on MX Player.
