Riding high on the success and critical acclaim of his last release, ‘Rashmi Rocket’, Abhishek Banerjee is currently shooting for his forthcoming web series titled ‘The Great Wedding of Munnes’, created and produced by Raaj Shaandilya.
While Abhishek pulled off the role of a lawyer in ‘Rashmi Rocket’ with great aplomb, the actor is excited to be shooting for his upcoming comedy web series. Directed by Sunil Subramani, the show follows the story of a middle-class man whose desperate attempts to marry the woman of his dreams translate to a series of hilarious misadventures.
Sharing his experience of shooting the web series, Abhishek Banerjee says, “It has been like a crazy journey for ‘The Great Weddings of Munnes’. It’s a mad script. There are some crazy actors and very hardworking unit. We all are having a lot of fun on and off set. Sometimes, there are scenes where I find it difficult to hold myself and I start laughing because of the performance happening in front of me is so good. I am looking forward to the next schedule and glad that I am in good company with Raaj Shandilya, Sunil Subramani, Jio Studios and Thinkink Picturez.”
Besides ‘The Great Weddings of Munnes’, Abhishek has an interesting line up of different genre films including ‘Bhediya’, ‘Aankh Micholi’ and Telugu thriller ‘Runway’.
