Sharmaji Ki Beti Will Release Next Year Says Sakshi Tanwar

Mumbai, 20th December 2021 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Sakshi Tanwar who is collaborating with Tahira Kashyap Khurrana on her debut feature film, Sharmaji Ki Beti, says the film will releases in 2022. 

 

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife and writer Tahira Kashyap will make Bollywood directorial debut with Sharmaji Ki Beti, the film stars Divya Dutta, Sakshi Tanwar and Saiyami Kher in the lead roles. 

 

Talking about the film on the sidelines of a social event, Sakhi said, “Sharmaji Ki Beti will release next year, in 2022. We will meet again for the film, and talk about it, right now it is slated for 2022 release” 

 

Sakhi Tanwar, who also narrated a poem from her father collection at the Timeless Expression event, said she doesn’t write poems but proof-read them for her father. 

 

She said, “It is special evening, we’re celebrating 27th anniversary of Delphic games. And I thought I will do something which I have never done before, I am narrating a poem, it is written by my father, he is Delhi right now, so I am narrating on his behalf. The poem is about people and country, Radha Ki Duvidha, this one is said from prospective of Radha and Kanha” 

 

“I am not much of poem person, my father writes, I just proof-read his poems, mostly for spelling errors and mistakes” added Sakhi. 

 

Sakshi Tanwar will next be seen in historic drama Prithviraj, which is directed Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film also stars Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar in the lead roles, it is scheduled to release in theatres on 21 January 2022
