Cash Got Picked Up Organically Says Amol Parashar

Mumbai, 11th December 2021 (NewsHelpline)   -   Actor Amol Parashar says his movie Cash based on demonetization got picked up by audience organically, the credit for success of the movie goes to audience and digital space. 

 

The team of Cash were interacting with NewsHelpline on the sidelines of Lag Gayi song launch at Mithibai College in Mumbai.

 

Talking about the success of the film, Amol Parashar said, “There was some hope and of course there was fear as well, which is obvious before the release of the film. And when your small movie releases amidst big movies with big marketing budgets, the chances were high of getting lost among big movies, but it didn’t happen. And the credit goes to the audience and digital medium which is providing varied content. Our film got picked up organically just by the word of mouth” 

 

Usually, the makers release the song before the movie release, but the makers of Cash opted to release the song after 2 weeks of its debut. 

 

Talking about the song release, so late in the game, Amol said, “We are here promoting our film, our new song. We are here in Mithibai College showcasing our film to the students and interacting with them after the releases of the film, this usually takes place before the film release. This is beauty of the digital medium, the longevity of the film is increased, with theatrical release, if opening is bad, you’re done by the weekend” 

 

Cahs is helmed by Rishabh Seth and starring Amol Parashar, Kavin Dave, Gulshan Grover, Swanand Kirkire, Smriti Kalra and Pawan Chopra, the film is fast-paced comic caper, full of twists, surprises and nuanced performances which will keep you glued to your seats.
