Filmmaker SS Rajamouli along with Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and entire cast and crew were interacting with media at the trailer launch of RRR movie in Mumbai.
Superstar Jr NTR’s role is signified by the element of water, and Ram Charan’s part role is characterised by fire, which is stark opposite to their popular image.
When asked about casting two massive stars opposite to their popular image, SS Rajamouli said, “Commercially, if I casted Ram Charan and Jr NTR just the same way as other directors, than it won’t be special. I want to make something special; I chose them for the characters for the characterization itself”
“See as Bheem there are certain aspect that can only be portrayed by NTR, same as for Ram, only Charan can play certain aspects. Characters made me choose Ram and NTR for the roles, rather than their images” added filmmaker.
RRR stars N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris while Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran play supporting roles.
It is a fictional story about two Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 7 January 2022.
