After the initial delay, the makers of Pushpa are out with the first official trailer for the film, starring Allu Arjun in the lead role.
Pushpa Raj is a truck driver and a smuggler who trades red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh state in India.
Allu Arjun dropped the trailer on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Here it is! #PushpaTrailer out now. #PushpaTheRise #PushpaTheRiseOnDec17th”
The trailer is raw, intense and follows a unique treatment, which seems drastically different from run-of-the-mill big hero masala movies. The film promises a visceral and visual experience of a memorable kind as opposed to eardrums bursting high decibel screaming match between two men hopped up on steroids.
The two part saga is written and directed by Sukumar and it is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Suneel, Anasuya Bharadwaj and Ajay Ghosh.
The film's music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with cinematography and editing performed by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and Karthika Srinivas respectively.
The film is scheduled to release on 17 December 2021 in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
