Awez Darbar, who bagged the prestigious Lokmat Digital Influencer Awards 2021 under Entertainment category, says it’s a shock but he is happy that he won.
Lokmat Digital Influencer Awards 2021 took place yesterday in Mumbai, which was graced by eminent personalities and popular influencer on social media.
Ismail Darbar’s son Awez Darbar is a noted dancer, choreographer, and influencer on social media. He received his fame through TikTok, bagged the Best Entertainment Award.
While interacting with Newshelpline, Awez said, “To be very honest, I wasn’t really expecting it, I’d win an award for entertainment, because when I started-off I wanted to make progress in choreography and might win an award in that sector. But I won an award in entertainment category, so I am slightly shocked but happy”
Further adding, Awez talked about shifting his focus from choreography to entertainment genre. He said, “When I started, I really wanted to make some progress in Choreography, but fans started to enjoy my other videos, so, I gunned for entertainment videos as main-stream and kept the choreography on the backburner.
Then came a time, when fans and audience started looking forward to my new video in entertainment genre, so I kept changing and adapting according to fans need”
Talking about his upcoming projects, Awez said, “We will be releasing two music videos, one is with Mika Singh and it will release on Saregamapa, the video will feature Nagma and Satish Kaushik as well”
