Released today, this Nandamuri Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu combination film crossed $300K just from premieres in the USA. This sensational pre-release sales opening for a mass film is a first in the US. The movie may become huge if the pre-sales trend continues. “Akhanda” had a non-holiday release in 350 locations across the US.
Emotions in overseas as well
With Nandamuri Balakrishna getting his biggest ever opening in the USA, some crazy scenes like breaking of coconuts were also witnessed at Serra Theatres, Milpitas, California. Usually, this kind of mania is seen in theatres in the South for mass films that go on to become blockbuster openings.

Notices for BGM and sound
With music composer Thaman’s reverberating background music elevating each action scene of the movie to another level, Cinemark theatre chain as a precautionary measure over the sound system reduced the sound in the film. A note over this was placed outside its theatres. Limiting the sound of a movie to a few decibels is a first in the USA.
The high-octane action sequences and mass beats already made fans go crazy.
