Grandson of Dharmendra and son of Sunny Deol, newbie actor Karan Deol got emotional during his birthday celebration with Newshelpline here in Mumbai and pays an ode to his granddad for chasing his dreams.

When asked about his special day, Karan said, “If I wasn’t born, I wouldn’t be here, and if my granddad didn’t get up and decided to become an actor, none of us would have been here, so a big shout out to my granddad for having the bravery to come to Mumbai and chase his dream. We all are here because of him”
When quizzed about his birthday ritual, Karan said, “There was a Pooja at home, just like every year, we perform Pooja on my birthday and I live with my brother, so he was first one to wish me”
Karan Deol made his acting debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, which was helmed by his father Sunny Deol. Now he is all set with his second movie, a college romance titled Velle.
When asked about his film, he added, “My wish this year, my film Velle is releasing on 10th December, I hope people enjoy the film”
The crime comedy film stars Karan Deol, Abhay Deol, Mouni Roy, Anya Singh, Savant Singh Premi and Visshesh Tiwari. The film will hit the theatres on December 10.
