Actress, dancer and yoga expect Malaika Arora who served on the panel of Queen of the world beauty pageant says that representation of women across all walks of life, shape, sizes and career orientation is really important.
Malaika Arora along with Madhu Chopra and Isha Koppikar graced the crowning of Queen of the world beauty pageant here in Mumbai.
Talking about the pageant which allows women from all age brackets to participate, Malaika said, “I think it is a good change, it is really an important change. Earlier all the competitions were about single and unmarried women, but there are so many competition for married women and working women. So I think it is a good title, Queen of the world, and it’s a good change and it should continue”
Further adding, Malaika endorsed the idea of representation of the women across all walks of life. She said, “It really nice to represent women from all walks of life, ages and sizes. I think inclusivity is really important. One shouldn’t have stereotypes; one should not just have women in pageants because they look a certain way. I think it is wonderful when you represent women across all the sections of the society and I am really glad that is happening here”
When asked that Malika is also Queen of the world with her presence across all platforms, whether its television, films, reality shows or digital show, she said, “Not just me, I think this title is apt and applicable for all the women and I am really happy that I am here to crown Queen of the world”
