We caught of with celebrity clinical cosmetologist and lifestyle medicine expert Dr. Supratim Akaash Paul to share his experience this year on how he’s celebrating Durga Puja. We know every Durga Puja; Dr. Paul becomes the authentic Bangali Babu in his attire. This year we spotted him playing the ‘dhaak’ in a pristine designer Punjabi.
Yes Durga Puja is very close to my heart and this is that time of the year when I completely shelve off all work and spend my time with friends and family in my hometown Kolkata. Whichever part of the globe I may be in; I make sure I come back and spend the four days of Durga Puja in my own city. The feel and the vibe which is there in Kolkata during Durga Puja is something you will not experience anywhere in the world, said Dr. Paul
We saw Dr. Paul flaunting different looks designed specially by Indrani Paul, celebrity luxury brand expert and a designer by passion. Every year I curate my bespoke ethnic wear collection for him. This time my choice was white with a dash of purple for Saptami, which he wore while tasting the puja special menu at a star hotel in the city, followed by some pastel shades for Ashtami and then it was the pantone colours this year of ultimate gray and bright yellow for Nabami and a touch of red for Dashami, said Indrani Paul
This year a lot more precautions were taken keeping in mind the Covid situation even in our thakurbari puja, which stepped into its one hundred and twenty fifth year; says Indrani Paul.
