Superstar Akshay Kumar is shooting for his forthcoming drama Raksha Bandhan at his birth-place Chandni Chowk, the actor takes a walk down the memory lane and shares a beautiful post.
Akshay took to his social media and shared a glimpse of his shooting in front of the Red Fort. He captioned it, “Today's morning run on the sets of #RakshaBandhan brought back so many memories as it was in my birthplace, Chandni Chowk. And how lovely it was to hear the chatter of the people around, never gets old"
Helmed by Aanand L Rai, the film is a comedy-drama, produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. The story written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon revolves around the love, bonding and attachment between brother-sister.
The film also features Bhumi Pednekar in lead role along with Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth. The film will theatrically release on 11 August 2022.
Apart from Raksha Bandhan, actor Akshay Kumar is busy with Atrangi Re, Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Ram Setu and OMG 2.
