After an epic trailer, the makers of Rashmi Rocket are out with the entire album of the sports drama starring Taapsee Pannu in the leading role.
The entire music of the film is composed by Amit Trivedi and all the songs are penned by Kausar Munir. The album has four songs, such as Ghani Cool Chori, Zidd, Rann Ma Kutchh and Zindagi Tere Naam.
The singers such as Bhoomi Trivedi, Nikhita Gandhi, Swaroop Khan, Mooralala Marwada, Akshat Parikh, Chetan Fefar, Mihir Pithadiya and Maulik Baladhiya have crooned the songs.
Sharing the album, Taapsee took to her social media and shared, “Some lovely gems from the one and only @ItsAmitTrivedi #RashmiRocket”
The trailer of Rashmi Rocket was released on September 23 and instantly became a hit. The film questions biased and armchair gender testing female athletes are made to go through.
Actor Priyanshu Painyuli will be seen in the role of her husband. Veteran actress Supriya Pathak plays Taapsee’s mother in the film. Abhishek Banerjee plays the lawyer who represents Taapsee's Rashmi in court as she fights the outdated gender tests female athletes are subjected to.
Written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon, Rashmi Rocket is produced by Ronnie Screwvala along with Neha Anand and Pranjal Khandhdiya.
The Akarsh Khurana directorial venture will premiere on Zee5 on October 15.
